I don't just know SEO theory. I live it every day.
My name is Prahlad Prajapati. I run SEO for web hosting brands — one of the most competitive niches on the internet, where every competitor has a bigger budget, a bigger team, and a head start of several years.
Six years in that niche taught me what actually moves rankings, because I had no other option. That is the background. Here is why it matters to you.

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh — clients across India and abroad
I learned this by ranking, not by watching.
Most consultants learned their craft from tutorials and blog posts. I learned mine in the hosting niche, where nobody hands you a ranking.
I have built and executed topical authority strategies for VPS hosting, offshore hosting, dedicated servers and managed cloud products. Keyword research across 65,000+ terms, internal linking systems that hold 500+ posts together, and affiliate content that converts at 8 to 15 percent.
Every one of those numbers came from a live commercial site where a drop in rankings meant a drop in revenue that same month. None of it was a side experiment.
I know what works in competitive niches because I had to make it work — as my actual job, not as a case study.
Five things I go deep on.
Everything else I either subcontract to someone better or tell you to skip.
01SEO strategy
Topical maps, keyword clustering, content calendars and prioritisation frameworks that fit your budget and your timeline, not an agency template.
02Link building & outreach
Legitimate white-hat acquisition. No spammy directories, no PBNs. Real placements on real sites inside your niche.
03Content strategy
Keyword-to-content briefs, writer SOPs, internal linking plans, and affiliate content that ranks and actually converts.
04Technical SEO
Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema markup, site architecture. I work inside WordPress daily — Rank Math, WP Rocket, the whole stack.
05Local & brand SEO
Google Business Profile optimisation, LocalBusiness schema, and brand mention tracking across AI platforms.
Six hosting brands, six different problems.
Working across all of them taught me something most consultants never learn: how to adapt strategy to very different audiences, price points and competitive landscapes inside one niche.
Why this site exists at all.
I run digitalprahlad.com to share what I learn in the trenches — honest takes on SEO, web hosting, WordPress and content strategy. No fluff, no recycled advice, just what is working right now.
I am also building a YouTube channel covering SEO and hosting in Hindi, because most of the good knowledge in this field sits behind an English-language paywall and it should not.
When I am not doing SEO, I am probably thinking about domain strategy, affiliate site architecture, or how to rank something everyone swears cannot be ranked.
Opinions I will happily argue about.
Topical authority beats domain authority. Build depth in one niche before spreading thin across five.
Content without internal linking is waste. Most blogs lose forty percent of their potential because posts never talk to each other.
AI is changing search, but intent is not changing. Understand what someone actually wants and the rest follows.
The fastest way to rank is to be the most useful result. Not the longest, not the most keyword-stuffed.
Write for humans first, search engines second. This is not a slogan; it is the only thing that survives an update.
Disagree with any of these? Email me. I will change my mind if the argument is good.
